A few stories broke after I had recorded this, so I append them here.
*House Education Committee to open investigation into antisemitism at the NEA (country’s largest teachers’ union): letter “gravely concerned about antisemitic content in the NEA's 2025 handbook and the NEA Representative Assembly's vote in July 2025 to ban materials by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL)”
CUNY: a state judge ruled that the school must provide records regarding its investment funds, bonds, and private equity holdings, as well as any purchase orders as part of contracts it may have with companies like Dell, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and Northrup Grumman, to its anti-Israel student groups. This decision comes after CUNY refused to disclose its investment records to a representative for the student groups CUNY for Palestine and CUNY Law Students for Justice in Palestine in early 2024, despite having given earlier versions of the exact records to other student groups previously. The New York Civil Liberties Union challenged the school’s targeted refusal in November 2024.
Kansas State U: Kansas State University’s civil rights investigator, the man “protecting” students from discrimination. On October 7th, while Jews were being raped, burned alive, and kidnapped by Hamas, he called the massacre “resistance" and said “Fuck your fake outrage at Palestine". He called the terrorist invasion a fight "against colonization, imperialism, capitalism, white supremacy.” He’s also a member of a secretive Marxist book club that called for the "complete and total destruction of Israel" and expressed "unwavering support for Hamas," And Jewish students are expected to REPORT antisemitism to him? The fox isn’t guarding the henhouse, the fox IS the henhouse.
